Matt Cartwright

Matt Cartwright is a Sydney-based composer and video artist currently completing a Masters of Digital Media, majoring in film. Formerly, as a Music and Composition research post-graduate, his conceptual musical works span across a range of genres from acoustic, sampled, jazz, sound design and compositions for stage and screen. His recent video works deal explicitly with the relationship between sound and visuals, using the filming of visual art as a medium. Presently, his works have included documentaries, short films and government commissions in the capacity of directing and cinematography
